Workshops in Congregation Care for Laypersons
From hospital visits to spontaneous conversations, this program enhances the ministry of laypersons who provide spiritual and emotional support to parishioners. The program consists of a series of workshops led by congregational care consultant the Rev. Theodore M. Smith, D.Min.
Our transformative approach trains individuals to become effective caregivers. Participants gain knowledge and skill, become more self- confident, solidify their identity as a lay minister and experience a spiritual renewal. If you would like to make a decisive contribution to the life of your church and to the lives of many hurting individuals, our Layperson Training Program is the right fit for you.

As a non-profit organization, it is only through the generosity of others that we’re able to offer specialized programs such as our Laypersons Training Program. Because of this, we graciously accept sponsorship from individuals, congregations and organizations.
Whether you wish to sponsor a single layperson, a class of laypersons or have another outlet in mind, we’d love to speak with you.
