Professional Education

Krist Samaritan Center offers residency training for individuals who have completed a graduate degree in a counseling discipline and seek clinical supervision to complete their licensure requirements, as well as offering psychology pre-doctoral internships for candidates interested in broad and general training in professional psychology. Our clinical supervisors are all approved by a state licensing board. The Center also periodically offers training events for area mental health professionals.

Participants in Krist Samaritan Center’s Professional Education programs are trained to understand counseling through a faith perspective, and are taught to integrate theological insights into their work. Participants hone skills in the practice of different clinical modalities, and gain experience working with children, adults and families.
