| The story of the Good Samaritan is one in which the unexpected helper helps. Our annual gala, A Samaritan Celebration, celebrates the life made by giving. The Samaritan Spirit Award, presented during our gala, pays tribute to individuals or organizations that make significant contributions to human health and growth—recognizing those unexpected helpers among us who help those in need.
Funds raised at A Samaritan Celebration will supplement the Counseling Assistance Fund, a fund that provides high-quality counseling to those in need on a sliding fee scale.
